This past weekend I scrambled up an unnamed creek in Germany's Ore Mountains which I had been wanting to visit since, well, last year when it was buried under a deep layer of snow. Turned out, this little stretch of creek with beautiful cascades is like a petrified paradise of fall color with orange glowing beech leaves perfectly conserved under the snow; amidst green moss slowly recovering from the frost.
